Tufts Wireless Laboratory recognizes the following sponsor groups:

• TWL financial no-interest sponsors

TWL financial no-interest sponsors are sponsors who donate a monetary value to the Laboratory without having an interest in a particular project or assignment. In that case, TWL is free to invest the donation into projects as it sees fit.


• TWL financial interest sponsors

TWL financial interest sponsors are sponsors who donate a monetary value to the Laboratory in exchange of gaining the interest in TWL projects and resources. In the case of interested sponsors, TWL Laboratory will work with the sponsor in order to develop a common interest project that will benefit the Laboratory and the sponsor. The project plan and its milestones will be carefully worked out in close coordination with the sponsor. The end results and research findings should be freely accessible to the interest sponsors for their own use and purpose.


• TWL technical support sponsors

TWL technical sponsors provide their donations in terms of free software licenses, free hardware parts, and any other equipment needed at the Laboratory.


• TWL knowledge sponsors

TWL knowledge sponsors provide their donations in terms of granting the Laboratory access to their knowledge databases which in turn help the Laboratory with their advancement in the research. These donations include technical books, journal subscriptions, confidential and proprietary research related papers, access to ebooks etc.
